We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit II team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Registered Nurse on our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients on the Medical Surgical Unit II, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Supervise and direct the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
- Current NJ RN licensure required.
- BA/BS/BSN degree preferred.
- Completion of clinical experience in NLN accredited school preferred.
- Additional experience required based upon specific department needs.
- National Certification preferred.
- BLS required.
- ACLS required within 6 months-1 year of initial employment.
