Job Overview

Telcom Construction Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tower Installation Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience climbing towers and possess excellent communication skills. The role requires the ability to work in varying weather conditions and involves regular lifting and carrying of heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, replace, and troubleshoot wireless equipment based on provided documents
  • Conduct site preparation, including assembly, painting, kitting, labeling, and color coding
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and report findings
  • Inventories, orders, and restocks trailer material as needed
  • Properly operate equipment such as Capstan hoist, Gin Pole, Ariel lifts, skid loaders, etc.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience climbing towers
  • Verifiable work experience and references
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to communicate and understand verbal instructions in English
  • Knowledge and proper use of various hand tools and power tools
  • Self-sufficient and able to work productively within changing priorities
  • Willing to travel and work long hours/weekends/overnights as needed
