Role Summary:

As an Anesthesia Specialist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patient care related to anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adequate call coverage by coordinating with medical staff for absences.
  • Maintain high standards of practice for the patient demographic.
  • Oversee clinical decision-making in your practice.
  • Advise on operational policies including budgeting, managed care participation, and compliance.
  • Provide after-hours coverage for patient needs.
  • Engage in community outreach and educational activities as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to risk management and quality assurance protocols.
  • Maintain a vigilant and safe working environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Regular standing and walking.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent use of vision and hearing for patient interaction.
