Position Overview:
Medix™ is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide exceptional care within a prominent Oncology and Hematology Clinic. This role is designed for professionals committed to improving patient outcomes in a supportive environment.
Key Information:
- Compensation: $90,000 - $150,000.00
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Incentives: Sign-on and relocation bonuses available
- New Graduates: Open to candidates fresh out of training
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop care plans for patients with hematological and oncological conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Document and initiate necessary interventions based on patient needs.
- Monitor and record patient and family responses in accordance with established protocols.
- Prescribe medications following clinical guidelines and in consultation with supervising physicians.
- Assist in various medical procedures as required.
- Participate in patient rounds and evaluations.
- Identify educational needs of patients and families, providing necessary guidance.
- Facilitate staff education and training initiatives.
- Act as a liaison among inpatient, skilled nursing, and home care settings.
- Integrate evidence-based research into daily clinical practice.
- Maintain active privileges at affiliated hospitals.
- Conduct patient consultations as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification as a Nurse Practitioner or current state licensure as a Physician Assistant.
- Current CPR certification is mandatory.
