Job Opportunity at All Things Metal

We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Welder to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a structural and miscellaneous steel fabricator and erector, we require a dedicated professional to work in our fabrication shop on a full-time, Monday-Friday basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out and fit up steel according to shop drawings
  • Set up and adjust welding machines for efficient welding
  • Verify and ensure high-quality welds comply with plans and specifications
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and plans
  • Perform welds according to AWS D1.1 specification
  • Clean and maintain equipment and work area
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in structural steel fitting, layout, and welding
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and plans
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Pass in-shop layout/fit-up test and fillet test

  • $15.00-$24.00 an hour depending on experience
