Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hemodialysis Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of improving the health and well-being of our patients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to take on a leadership role in our hemodialysis unit. You will be responsible for providing expert nursing care to patients undergoing hemodialysis, as well as supervising and mentoring junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff: Lead and develop the skills of your team members, ensuring they provide excellent patient care and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: Work closely with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care and achieve treatment goals.
  • Ensure smooth operations: Coordinate patient scheduling, communicate effectively with staff and management, and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Current RN licensure: In good standing and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Experience in hemodialysis: A minimum of 9 months of experience in chronic or acute hemodialysis, preferably in a hospital or dialysis setting.
  • Certifications: CPR BLS certification and relevant state licensure.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills: Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Time management and prioritization: Effective management of multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
