Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. You will work closely with pharmacists to assist with prescription filling, patient counseling, and other pharmacy-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, including retrieving, counting, and pouring medications
  • Provide patient counseling and education on medication use and side effects
  • Operate pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and manage inventory
  • Assist with customer service, including answering questions and resolving issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
