Job Summary: The University of Alabama seeks a skilled Mason II to perform complex tasks in the Masonry trade. The successful candidate will lay brick or blocks in the construction or repair of buildings, interior and exterior. Responsibilities include mixing and/or supervising the mixing of mortar and concrete, pouring and finishing concrete slabs, walks, or structures. The Mason II may also train and supervise entry-level Masons and drive from site to site.

Required Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED and four (4) years of masonry experience are required. A valid U.S. driver's license and an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report are also necessary.
