About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a vital role in providing technical assistance in the operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist nursing and surgical staff with direct patient care activities
  • Perform technical duties relating to scrub personnel, including smooth, precise, and efficient reaction to all situations
  • Plan and evaluate care provided
  • Participate in staff, patient, and/or family education to a degree consistent with personal knowledge base
  • Participate in unit PI activities
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Completion of an OR Technician training program or equivalent
  • Certification by the Association of Surgery Technologists
