Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team at Otto Bock Patient Care, LLC. As a key member of our Clinical Department, you will be responsible for fabricating and modifying prosthetic devices and components under the guidance of our experienced orthotists and prosthetists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate and modify prosthetic devices and components to meet the needs of our patients.
  • Determine the best materials and tools to use for each project, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Work efficiently to meet delivery deadlines and respond to patient needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest fabrication techniques and material properties through ongoing education and training.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety regulations and company standards.
  • Treat patient information with confidentiality, in accordance with HIPAA standards and company policies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Understanding of medical terminology and basic anatomy preferred.
  • Background experience in general fabrication procedures, including working with various materials and components.
  • Formal technician training certificate and/or degree from an NCOPE-accredited program preferred.
