Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care for a diverse panel of patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and interventions for Veterans within a Primary Care team framework.
- Collaborate effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary Primary Care team.
- Diagnose and address urgent health concerns promptly.
- Facilitate appropriate referrals to specialized medical services.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, recommend treatment plans, and modify medication regimens as necessary.
- Engage patients and their families in the care planning process and goal setting for health improvement.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of health assessments, treatment decisions, and therapeutic outcomes for each patient encounter.
- Adhere to established Performance Measure guidelines and fulfill clinical requirements with diligence.
Work Schedule: Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential.
- Ability to complete a probationary period.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination.
- Mandatory participation in influenza and COVID-19 vaccination programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must meet the fundamental job requirements along with any additional criteria specified in the job listing. Physicians currently employed at WISESTAFF who met the criteria upon their initial hiring are considered to have satisfied the basic job prerequisites.
Basic Requirements:
- United States Citizenship.
- Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid medical license to practice in a U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth.
- Completion of residency training in an accredited program.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English.
