Key Responsibilities:
- Repair and maintain various carbide progressive, pierce & blank dies to ensure optimal performance and quality.
- Troubleshoot die-related problems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Manage and maintain control of tooling, gages, and precision measuring instruments for the Automotive Chain, Fabrication & Assembly Department.
- Verify tooling in machines to ensure conformance to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in reading and writing English.
- At least 3 years of experience in fabrication or assembly technologies, utilizing shop arithmetic, decimals, and fractions, working from prints and specifications.
- Ability to read and interpret various precision measuring instruments, maintain inventory records, and manage inventory levels.
- Proven experience and knowledge of carbide die repair, surface grinders, and punch presses.
