Funeral Director/Embalmer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Funeral Director/Embalmer to join our team at Park Lawn Memorial Group, LLC. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to client families, ensuring that their needs are met with dignity and respect.

• Consult with client families to create personalized funeral services that meet their unique needs and preferences.
• Coordinate all aspects of funeral services, including preparation, planning, and execution.
• Ensure that all necessary documents, such as obituaries and death certificates, are completed accurately and timely.
• Prepare and embalm deceased individuals for interment, cremation, or other disposition in accordance with legal requirements and company guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service to client families, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.

• Four-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• 5 years' experience as a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer.
• Valid and applicable state Funeral Director and Embalmer License; reciprocal across states and in good standing.
• Valid state issued driver's license in good standing and acceptable driving record.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously. The Funeral Director/Embalmer must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods of time. Travel may be required, up to 10% of the time.
