Veterinarian Healthcare Specialist

Key Responsibilities:- Provide exceptional patient care by performing physical examinations, diagnosing diseases, and providing preventive care.
- Develop treatment plans for patients undergoing day hospitalization and communicate effectively with referral hospitals to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in rounds as incoming or exiting doctor and disseminate knowledge throughout staff to improve care and communication.
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.
- Active licensure as a veterinarian without contingencies in the state where the hospital is located.
- Current DEA license and USDA Category I Accreditation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, compassion, and ability to maintain a professional attitude in emotional situations.
The majority of job duties are conducted in the Vetco Total Care veterinary full-service hospital. The position requires bending, kneeling, lifting up to 30 pounds, and standing for long periods.
Estimated Salary:$143,455 - $317,335 per year, based on location and experience.
