Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, adhering to state practice guidelines.
  • Assist in identifying suitable patients and referring them to rehabilitation services.
  • Document patient progress on weekly progress notes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and obtaining the co-signature of the Physical Therapist.
  • Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
  • Complete all required documentation as indicated and according to state guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited college with an A.S. in Physical Therapist Assistant, recognized by the APTA.
  • Current license and/or registration as a Physical Therapist Assistant in-state, as applicable.
