About the Role

  • As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with our clinical team to develop and implement individualized behavioral plans that promote social and self-management skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 center-based ABA therapy to children with Autism and related conditions.
  • Run therapeutic and behavioral plans, and provide early intervention to increase social and self-management skills.
  • Support individuals with learning and maintaining personal skills such as hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
  • Teach and model interpersonal and social skills to help individuals thrive in their communities.
  • Provide assistance using strategies to properly manage and redirect agitated or aggressive behaviors.

Qualifications:

  • You must meet one of the following EIDBI Level qualifications for education and/or experience:

Level 2 Qualifications:

  • Hold an associate's degree from an accredited institution in behavioral health, child development, or related fields, and at least 2,000 hours of supervised clinical experience.
  • Possess a high school diploma (or GED) and have 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience (equivalent to 2 years of full-time experience).

Level 1 Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a graduate program in a mental health discipline or hold a master's degree in a mental health field.
