Job Title: Shuttle Bus Driver

Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of shuttle buses, ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of bus interiors.
  • Log trip counts and assist disabled passengers as needed.
  • Be punctual and presentable, adhering to company uniform standards.
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain an acceptable DMV record.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and directing customers to the Facility Manager as necessary.
  • Report accidents, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
  • Communicate with the garage office regarding debris, water, oil spills, and other issues.
  • Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when authorized and have a thorough knowledge of the garage and surrounding area.
  • Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable.
  • Support the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Less than High School education or one month related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid CDL Class A, B, or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement, as per DOT Regulations.
  • DOT Medical Card, including a Medical Examiner's Certificate.
  • Availability to work special shifts, including 3rd shift and/or weekends, if required.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively to customers and employees.
  • Mathematical skills to perform basic arithmetic operations using American money.
  • Appearance: Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
  • Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb, or balance; and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds.
