Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team at Performance Foodservice. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in preparing and analyzing financial reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency of data, and providing valuable insights to management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily and monthly financial reports, including variances to plan and forecast.
• Ensure consistency of data and presentation with other departments.
• Provide value-added reporting and analytics to management.
• Work closely with supervisory roles to ensure accuracy of department financials during monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles.
• Perform tasks such as bank reconciliation, rebate processing, account analysis, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Assist with cross-departmental training and work closely with all departments within the organization.
• Support the VP of Finance with forecasts and budgets as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience or work towards an accounting degree.
