- Shift Schedule: 12-hour night shifts

Unit InformationThe unit primarily caters to tele/cardiac patients with the following details:
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient-to-Nurse Ratio: 4:1
- Patient Demographics: Adult to Geriatric
- Electronic Medical Record System: Cerner
- Uniform Policy: Any color scrubs are acceptable
- Remote Telemetry Unit
It is essential for candidates to adhere to departmental standards for interpreting, measuring, and documenting cardiac rhythms twice per shift.
Dress CodePersonal scrubs of any color are permitted, but designs or cartoons are not allowed. Hoodies are also prohibited.
Submission Criteria- Must be adept at working night shifts and ready to start immediately.
- Strong background and experience in Cardiac/Telemetry and Med-Tele Units are mandatory.
- Previous travel nursing experience is highly encouraged.
- Telemetry experience is a requirement.
- Ability to follow departmental expectations for cardiac rhythm interpretation is essential.
- Experience in neuro/stroke care is a plus.
- Previous experience at similar facilities should be disclosed in the application.
- Cerner experience is required.
- Reliability is crucial; attendance issues will not be tolerated.
- ACLS (AHA)
- BLS (AHA)
Applicants must possess a valid New York nursing license at the time of application submission.
