Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities.
  • Operate CT systems, including processing and maintenance, to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and contrast media procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences.
  • ARRT, CT certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CT scanning, preferably in a hospital setting.
