Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Imaging Department at Becker Health. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
* Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures
* Prepare patients for CT scans, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

* KSBHA license
* 2-3 years of experience in CT
* Ability to work independently and problem-solve
* Siemens scanner experience preferred

Unit Information:

Our Imaging Department is a busy and dynamic environment, with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. We are a small facility with a family-friendly atmosphere, making it easy for new staff members to orientate quickly. Our department has a great guideline book and resources to help you come in and get started quickly.

Typical Procedures:

* Mixture of CT Head, cervical spine, chest, abdomen, pelvis
* CTA chest, neck, abdomen
* Occasional CTA Cardiac studies
* Some CT Lumbar / Thoracic spine
* CT Head Stroke protocol

Personality Fit:

* Works well in a department that could be busy or slow based on the ED patient load
* Works well with other departments
* Dependable / prompt
