Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for clients with nutritional needs
  • Conduct assessments and provide individualized nutrition counseling to clients
  • Lead group nutrition education sessions to promote healthy eating habits and disease management
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure clients receive comprehensive care
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to promote program services
  • Provide education and resources to clients on healthy eating, meal planning, and food safety
  • Assist with program evaluation and reporting to ensure program effectiveness
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field and 2 years of experience in nutrition counseling or a related field
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of HIV/AIDS and related health issues
