Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them to return. Provide fast and friendly service, accurate product information, and offer applicable discounts/promotions.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Ring up sales, merchandise, and offer our customers discounts/promotions while following all laws and policies regarding restricted sales of tobacco and alcohol.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness, inside and outside the store, and properly label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays.
  • Safety and Security: Be safety/security conscious, adhere to the guidelines in the Safety Manual, and report any accidents or incidents to the Store Manager immediately.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned, including reconciling daily paperwork, completing daily deposits, and ensuring proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • Age: Must be 21+ years old to sell restricted products, including alcohol and tobacco.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with a friendly can-do attitude.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shifts to support business needs for a 24/7 operation, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Previous Experience: Previous retail or cashier experience is preferred.
  • Teamwork: Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Reliable Transportation: Reliable transportation to support multiple locations.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand for an extended period. While performing the duties of this job, you are frequently required to stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; and talk and listen. Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 65 pounds.

Work safely in work conditions that include heat, cold, allergen, noise, and fume/chemical/odor from gasoline and cleaning chemicals.
