At Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber Company, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering merchandise to customer sites and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and deliver merchandise to customer sites as required, ensuring safe transport and proper unloading.
  • Obtain and complete all necessary paperwork for delivery or pickup of merchandise.
  • Provide customer service at the site and collect cash on delivery if required.
  • Report damage to equipment, merchandise, or personal property immediately.
  • Adhere to company truck maintenance standards and advise management of mechanical and maintenance problems.
  • Track vehicle mileage for interstate transfers of merchandise.
  • Provide customer service by assisting with customer needs and questions as work schedule allows.
  • Maintain a clean yard environment, including warehouses, fences, and open areas.
  • Fulfill duties and responsibilities of a forklift operator as required.
  • Participate in scheduled cycle counts as needed.
  • Attend and participate in company-sponsored training programs as required.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to two years of related experience and/or training.
  • A valid driver's license of the appropriate type and class issued by the state of residence to operate the size and type of company truck assigned.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with customers and management.
  • Ability to lift and move more than 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
Working Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including outside weather conditions and near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is usually loud.
