Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurosurgeon to join our team at Dignity Health Medical Group - North State. As a key member of our multispecialty group, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced neurohospitalists, neurointerventional radiologists, and outpatient neurologists.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified or Eligible Neurosurgeon to practice in Redding, California, a city surrounded by natural beauty and offering a great quality of life. You will be part of a 60+ provider group with care centers in Redding and Red Bluff, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, developing and implementing comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories, communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, performing procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation, participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices, participating in ongoing medical education and training.

Requirements

  • A valid and unrestricted California medical license.
  • Board eligible or board certified in neurological surgery (ABMS or AOA).
  • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $646,000 - $925,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive salary, benefits package, and generous time off, making this an attractive opportunity for a skilled Neurosurgeon.
