Job Title: Operating Room Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team at River Ridge Rehabilitation and Center. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room setting, ensuring optimal comfort and safety during surgical procedures.
  • Administer injections and medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during surgeries, maintaining sterile techniques and following proper protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and responses during procedures, alerting the team to any changes or concerns.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to procedures and treatments.
  • Uphold a clean, organized, and safe environment in the Operating Room.
Requirements:
  • Hospital Experience: Prior experience working in a hospital setting, particularly in the Operating Room.
  • Patient Care: Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and attentive care to patients.
  • Acute Care Knowledge: Understanding of acute care principles and practices.
  • Physiology Proficiency: Solid knowledge of human physiology relevant to surgical interventions.
  • Internal Medicine Familiarity: Knowledge of internal medicine practices within an operating room context.
  • Inpatient Care Skills: Experience in providing care to inpatients undergoing surgical procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Nursing: 1 year of experience.
  • BLS Certification.
  • RN, LPN licensure.
Work Environment:

This is a part-time position with a competitive hourly rate of $27.00. The ideal candidate will be able to commute to Wynne, AR and relocate to the area before starting work.
