Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and maintain construction machines, component assemblies, and parts in the shop and field, including diagnosing, parts ordering, and technical report writing.
  • Develop and implement repair plans and sequences, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including parts ordering, special tooling usage, and daily service reports.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure seamless workflow and customer satisfaction.
  • Operate company vehicles and service trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and quality assurance protocols.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Associate Degree in Diesel or Equipment Technology, or four (4) years of apprenticeship experience.
  • Technician classification based on experience, knowledge, and competence.
