Job Description

The Armed Security Shift Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services on a specific shift at an assigned customer. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising staff on assigned shifts, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment ranges
  • Aiding in crisis situations at client sites, calmly and efficiently communicating with personnel and the general public
  • Communicating staffing needs on shift to account managers or operations managers
  • Assuring employees receive appropriate training, developing them in both technical and professional skills
  • Managing uniforms, equipment, supplies, and vehicles utilized at the account, maintaining accurate inventories and maintenance checklists
Requirements
  • Age 21+, High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Effective written and oral communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public
  • Licensing requirements may apply, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations
  • Background investigation and drug screen required prior to employment
