About the Role

Kinetik is a leading provider of oil and gas services in the Permian Basin, and we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compressor Technician to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on compressor equipment, including Caterpillar/Waukesha engines and Ariel compressors.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with compressor systems, including electrical and control systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure all work is performed in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to company safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in compressor maintenance and repair, preferably with CAT 3500 and 3600 experience.
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noises, and hazardous materials.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull, and hold equipment and tools, with the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.
