The Community Forestry Volunteer/Partnership Coordinator delivers technical, educational, and financial community forestry assistance to local governments, communities, and volunteer-based organizations statewide. The Coordinator extends external partnerships, leverages program support, and diversifies stakeholder and citizen involvement in North Dakota's Community Forestry Programs.
This position works statewide and is expected to travel frequently. The Coordinator will work closely with diverse groups, including local governments, communities, and volunteer-based organizations, to promote sustainable forestry practices and provide education and training on forest management techniques.
This position requires a valid driver's license and a strong understanding of community forestry, forest management, arboriculture, natural resources management, university extension, or related fields. The successful candidate will have experience working with volunteers, community officials, and partner organizations and be able to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
