We invite you to join our team as a Hybrid School Therapist, working from home 3 days and at the school 2 days per week. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will champion possibility and fuel student success by providing social-emotional services.

School Settings
  • We serve students in various educational settings, including special education and alternative education.
  • We cater to students from diverse backgrounds, offering tailored support and interventions.


Responsibilities

As a Hybrid School Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Providing individual, group, or push-in counseling services to students in accordance with their IEP or BIP.
  • Collaborating on creating IEPs, including social-emotional IEP goal setting and IEP meeting participation.
  • Completing social-emotional and behavior assessments, analyzing data to identify student strengths and weaknesses.
  • Developing functional behavior assessments, BIPs, and other transition plans.
  • Implementing behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation techniques and crisis management.
  • Supporting social-emotional learning skill development through targeted curricula and assessments.
  • Providing in-service training with other teams.
  • Maintaining documents in student files according to regulatory agency requirements.


Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will need:
  • Professional licensure, including LPC, LCPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or LMHC.
  • A Master's degree in social work, human services, or a related field (mental health, psychology, counseling).
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents in a school, special education, or behavior health setting.
