Job Description

The Clinical Pharmacy Manager Oncology Programs Specialist will be responsible for leading and managing our ambulatory specialty pharmacy services. This includes developing and implementing strategies to improve patient outcomes and quality of care in ambulatory settings, as well as collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and reduce costs.
  • Lead and manage a team of pharmacists, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of care and achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to optimize clinical and financial performance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current clinical practices, regulations, and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in providing direct patient care in hematology and/or oncology, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to evaluate current pharmacy services and procedures to improve them through an evaluative process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office platforms and other computer applications.
