Caregiver - Homemaker/Companion

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Engage in activities with clients, such as reading, music, and puzzles.
• Assist clients with medication reminders and other tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other caregivers.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
• Must be able to successfully complete a written Competency Evaluation.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check.

Nice to Have's:

• CNA or HHA license is preferred.
• 6 months of experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare is preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities) is preferred.
