Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Engage in activities with clients, such as reading, music, and puzzles.
- Assist clients with medication reminders and other tasks as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and other caregivers.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Must be able to successfully complete a written Competency Evaluation.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance.
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check.
Nice to Have's:
- CNA or HHA license is preferred.
- 6 months of experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities) is preferred.
