Job Summary

Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs to address movement dysfunction and pain resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other health-related conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient conditions.
  • Develop, revise, and evaluate a plan of care tailored to patient needs.
  • Implement therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques and skills.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and staff on patient care and rehabilitation.
  • Ensure continuity of care through discharge planning and home instructions.
  • Supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and support personnel.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient responses to therapy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
  • No prior experience required.
Physical Demands
  • Constant standing and walking.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech for communication.
  • Frequent use of vision for distances near and far.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting, and repetitive movements.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Occasional use of vision to judge distances and spatial relationships.
Professional Requirements
  • Physical Therapist licensure in Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin.
Work Environment

Day Shift, Employee, SPS OT/PT department, 40 scheduled weekly hours.
