Job Description

Peraton is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Systems Engineer to support our ARCYBER program. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of the DODIN-A network infrastructure, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering services to assess the technical viability of cyber programs and related efforts, including software requirements definition, testing, and implementation.
  • Design, migrate, implement, enhance, optimize, and maintain infrastructure to ensure seamless integration with larger corporate and enterprise processes.
  • Manage CDS networks, including the implementation of network architecture topology diagrams to reflect current network configurations.
  • Support the management of specified network appliances and maintain up-to-date knowledge of cyber security technology capabilities and trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential security risks and threats.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience with a BS/BA, 6 years with an MS/MA, or 3 years with a PhD.
  • Technical knowledge of system integration and cloud-based applications.
  • Ability to produce network architecture topology diagrams.
  • Familiarity with Army DODIN-A operations and knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPNs, Load Balancers, and Project Manager (PM) Tactical Network.
  • Current knowledge of cyber security technology capabilities and trends.
  • Expertise in Army cyber technologies, including systems and tools used.
  • Familiarity with a diverse range of areas, including threat analysis, cyber assessments, forensic and malware analysis, virtualization, and information security policy and process.
  • Willingness and ability to do domestic TDYs to Government sites, with occasional OCONUS travel.
  • Dod clearance TS SCI w/Poly and the ability to obtain MEAD clearance.
  • Desired: CCNP, CASP+ or other IAT Level III certification.
