Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer III to join our team at Hyundai Autoever America. This role will be responsible for the development, maintenance, support, and operations of the Siebel software applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test Siebel software applications using Siebel Tools/Open UI and Oracle Database related technologies.
  • Maintain the Siebel implementation process by coordinating with business personnel and cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementations of Siebel applications.
  • Develop implementation plans, issue lists, status reports, and other written documents in accordance with the recommended methodology.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot production issues and design and develop solutions to fix reported defects and stabilize new products in production.
  • Report production issue and ticket trends and provide recommendations.
  • Analyze current technology utilized and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them.
  • Production issue triage and tracking, troubleshooting activities, ticket creation and maintenance, ticket assignments, and vendor follow-up.
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to satisfy customer requests and provide resolution strategies for incoming issues.
  • Identify root causes of technical issues in production and out-of-box failures and create RCA documents.
  • Maintain knowledge and technical expertise of current production systems, best practices tools, and techniques and implement them in a reasonable and responsible manner.
  • Identify issues and risks related to the Issue/Incident Management program and take escalation actions as necessary.
  • Be available according to a shared coverage schedule for addressing P1 and P2 incidents as needed.
  • Interact with project teams for new product development, providing insights from technical issues of previous products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in Siebel Development, Configuration, and Integration.
  • Siebel IP23 Development, Configuration, and Admin experience within 6-8 years of overall Siebel development experience.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts.
  • Proficient in deploying applications on J2EE Web/Application servers like JBoss, WebLogic, and Tomcat.
  • Production incident and issue management experience with strong problem-solving and root cause analysis background.
  • Experience working on complex technical projects in a multi-vendor project environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to multi-task and maintain composure.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge or work experience on SaaS platforms like AWS, MS Azure, and Salesforce clouds.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Automotive Industry handling Call Center I.T. needs.
  • Oracle Siebel 8.0 Consultant Expert certification.
  • API knowledge of other off-platforms like JavaScript, React, or Node JS, AWS.
  • Experience with technologies supporting SaaS applications including XML Web Services, HTML.
  • Salesforce Certifications, e.g., Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified Salesforce Platform App Builder, Certified Salesforce Developer.
  • Platform and data migration project experience from legacy systems like Siebel to Salesforce cloud.

Salary Range: $91,810 to $131,285
