Welder I

We are seeking a skilled Welder I to join our team at Life Line Emergency Vehicles, Inc. This role is responsible for preparing and assembling chassis, floors, and walls for emergency vehicles.

• Prepares and assembles chassis, floors, and walls for emergency vehicles
• Operates power and air tools, including shears, notchers, saws, drills, and presses
• Applies welding processes to assemble and repair emergency vehicle components
• Inspects finished products for quality and accuracy
• Collaborates with engineering staff to ensure compliance with manufacturing methods and techniques
• Meets or exceeds cost reduction goals and adheres to safety policies and procedures

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2+ years of experience in metal fabrication and welding
• Knowledge of welding processes and metal fabrication techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
