Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Pacific Central Coast Health Centers. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our licensed medical staff in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed medical staff in preparing patients for services, utilizing basic administrative, clerical, and technical skills.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for all patients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and processing medical records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements
  • Completion of a medical assistant training program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to move quickly from one task to another independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy with the ability to type accurately at a moderate pace.
  • Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of medical assistant experience, experience in the area of clinic specialty, and certification/registration as a Medical Assistant.
