Job Responsibilities:
  • Possess familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the project management field.
  • Utilize limited experience and judgment to effectively plan and achieve project goals.

  • Collaborate under the guidance of a Senior Project or Program Manager on larger initiatives.
  • Support various departments, including Labor & Economic Opportunity and the Attorney General's office.
  • Manage project assignments based on demand across different areas.

  • Comprehend business and technical objectives, working closely with project sponsors.
  • Create project charters and work plans, tracking budget and schedule progress through relevant metrics.
  • Establish project organization, methodologies, and define roles and responsibilities.
  • Document potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Implement a comprehensive communication plan.
  • Build and lead an effective team, assigning tasks and evaluating outcomes.
  • Negotiate resource allocation and maintain communication with stakeholders.
  • Identify, monitor, and resolve issues while removing obstacles to project success.
  • Provide technical support to team members, managing complex application features and designs.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of components for intricate application features.
  • Manage a team of application system analysts.
  • Exercise management responsibility for achieving project performance and revenue objectives.
  • Ensure the project plan includes tasks, schedules, estimates, and status updates for team members.
  • Establish a structured management approach emphasizing quality and consistency.
  • Direct corrective actions in areas where performance does not meet objectives.
  • Coordinate responsibilities across supporting facilities and monitor their performance.
  • Demonstrate self-direction and independence in project management.
  • Oversee all project aspects, setting deadlines and monitoring progress.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for upper management regarding project status.
Essential Skills/Requirements:
  • Expertise in schedule management, vendor management, and Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in project management is required.
