Female Campus Recovery Minister
Hope Center Ministries is a dynamic nonprofit organization dedicated to discipleship and recovery, operating numerous centers across the nation. Our mission is to support individuals facing substance use challenges and their families in becoming committed followers of Christ. We facilitate enduring freedom and sobriety through a relationship with Jesus Christ, aiming for the salvation of the lost, liberation of the saved, restoration of the freed, and fulfillment of the restored.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver discipleship on campus
- Foster a supportive and nurturing environment
- Oversee daily campus functions and family/support connections
- Recruit and manage volunteers, Bible study leaders, and community influencers
Discipleship Focus:
- Provide lay counseling
- Ensure adequate time for individual and group counseling for each resident
- Monitor compliance with counseling standards
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions
- Facilitate mentorship opportunities
- Organize outings with approved mentors and family members
- Coordinate Bible studies and devotionals, ensuring adherence to guidelines
- Supervise Phase 3 guidelines and sponsor acquisition
Campus Environment:
- Guide community leaders in maintaining daily schedules and structure
- Encourage rest and healthy recreational activities
- Plan free nights for gym and relaxation activities
- Promote a God-centered atmosphere
- Attend to the needs of residents
- Conduct group activities such as prayer, meals, and Christian entertainment
- Document disciplinary actions with compassion
Operational Oversight:
- Manage daily campus operations
- Delegate responsibilities to community leaders, staff, apprentices, and interns
- Ensure counseling requirements are fulfilled
- Oversee vocational training and weekend activities in Phase I
- Post weekly scripture
- Uphold organizational policies
- Ensure accurate documentation of resident information
Family Engagement:
- Coordinate family support nights
- Conduct foundational classes
- Invite support groups to events
- Organize holiday and special events for support groups
Professional Development:
- Dedicate time for personal growth and well-being
- Engage in courses, workshops, and conferences
- Focus on developing leaders, volunteers, and Bible study teachers
- Set and achieve goals through strategic vision
- Participate in annual performance evaluations
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Bible
- Familiarity with Celebrate Recovery's 12 steps and 8 principles
- Insight into human behavior, lay counseling, and rehabilitation
- Knowledge of 12 steps, 8 principles, and HCM curriculum
- Effective communication skills
- Time management abilities
- Conflict resolution expertise
Additional Qualifications:
- Profess faith in Jesus Christ and adhere to Biblical principles
- Align with the organization's beliefs and values
- Pass necessary screenings and reference checks
- Meet any other criteria established by the organization
