Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Monitor vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
  • Provide wound care, ostomy care, and catheter care as needed
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
  • Observe patients for changes in condition and report any significant findings to the RN
  • Accurately document patient care activities, including medication administration, vital signs, and treatment procedures
  • Maintain patient records and charts in accordance with facility policies and regulations
  • Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and regulations, including infection control and safety standards
Requirements:
  • Current LPN license in Ohio
  • BLS Certification
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
