Job Summary

August Schell Brewing Company is seeking an experienced Production Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our bottle and can filler machines, ensuring the highest quality products are produced.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain bottle and can filler machines, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Perform regular sanitation and cleaning of equipment and workspace to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Prepare and execute start-up processes necessary for each day of filling, including switching tanks of beer as needed.
  • Troubleshoot any issues with filler machines and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with other production team members to maintain maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Complete necessary documentation and forms, including inventory management and quality control records.
  • Refill chemical containers as needed and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and processes.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate computer systems.
  • General mathematic skills and ability to perform calculations.
  • Ability to frequently lift between 60-80 lbs and occasionally maneuver and handle 160 lbs.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent work ethic and sense of accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with forklift driving and operating.
  • Experience with computers and ability to learn new software systems.
