Palm Health Resources, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to join their team as a Locum support specialist in Binghamton, NY. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to provide ongoing support to a well-established heart surgery program.
This is a locum contract with the option to extend or become a permanent member of the team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in heart surgery and be able to serve as a point of education and support for PAs. The primary responsibilities include teaching and first assisting in the OR, with some ICU involvement. The program uses Maquet equipment and performs approximately 6-8 hearts per week, mainly CABGs and some valves.
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including paid malpractice insurance, lodging, rental car or mileage reimbursement, travel expenses, and more.
