Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' skills and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to integrate occupational therapy recommendations into daily routines and educational plans
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote students' participation in school and social situations
  • Provide guidance and education to school staff and families to support the integration of occupational therapy strategies at school and at home
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of students' therapy, progress, and outcomes
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Valid state OT license (or eligibility to obtain licensure)
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
