About the Job:
In this pivotal role as a Medical Assistant at USA Clinics Group, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. As a skilled medical professional, you will balance the needs of patients and maintain an efficient work-flow of the office, while ensuring that patients receive top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and escort them to examination rooms, assisting with form completion when necessary.
  • Become familiar with clinic computer hardware and software, utilizing it according to company policies.
  • Answer multiple-line telephone lines and respond to calls in multiple languages.
  • Schedule appointments and accommodate patient needs, including ordering transportation and rescheduling as required.
  • Contact insurance companies to verify eligibility.
  • Perform various clerical tasks, such as copying, filing, and faxing.
  • Maintain procedure rooms by ensuring they are neat and ready for use at all times.
  • Assist doctors during Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures, adhering to instructions and individual preferences.
  • Prepare patients before procedures and clean up afterwards.
  • Ensure patient receipt of post-procedure instructions and medication information, if needed.
  • Prepare IV solutions and apply knowledge of sterile techniques and OSHA regulations.
  • Train new staff members and assist ultrasound staff as required.
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Requirements:
  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 1-2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
  • Medical Assistant Certification is preferred.
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
