Construction Superintendent Role:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead various projects across diverse sectors, including:
    • Higher Education Institutions
    • K-12 Educational Facilities with DSA compliance
    • Specialized sectors (OSHPD, etc.)
  • Review architectural plans and specifications to ensure precision, prepare General Conditions, and establish baseline schedules for subcontractors or in-house teams.
  • Monitor project expenditures and manage all aspects of change management, RFIs, and owner payment requests.
  • Oversee shop drawings and submittals, draft subcontracts and purchase orders, manage subcontractor relations, and conduct regular coordination meetings on-site.
  • Maintain client relationships and ensure consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in K-12 and higher education construction sectors.
  • Proven experience with DSA oversight on managed projects.
  • A professional degree in construction management, architecture, or a related discipline (mechanical or civil engineering, construction technology, interior design, business administration) is preferred.
  • Ability to negotiate, draft, and finalize all subcontract agreements.
  • Willingness to relocate as necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Procore.
  • A collaborative team player dedicated to client service.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
