We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sun Health. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our facilities, ensuring a safe and attractive environment for our residents and team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Completing all work orders assigned to you
  • Correcting or reporting any irregularities or obvious repair work to the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Troubleshooting and repairing common electrical, plumbing, and carpentry issues
  • Repairing and replacing sheet-rock, applying wall texture and paint
  • Hanging pictures and wall décor
  • Clearing toilet and sink drains
  • Troubleshooting and repairing household appliances
  • Changing air filters in all air conditioning units
  • Performing preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned
  • Assisting with landscaping duties as needed
  • Conducting lighting rounds to replace burned out light bulbs and repair light fixtures
  • Responding to emergencies, security, fire and disaster calls

Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry experience
  • A current or obtainable Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
