Job Summary

ECC is seeking a highly skilled Site Superintendent to oversee the maintenance of Department of Defense (DoD) Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants (POL) facilities. This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills, as well as the ability to ensure compliance with health and safety and quality control requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with project teams, health and safety officers, and quality control officers to prioritize tasks and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Act as a key implementer of field activities and tasks, preparatory to field activities.
  • Assist in identifying and performing general labor tasks to achieve project objectives under the direction of the Project Manager.
  • Contribute methods of approach and identify solutions to logistical or operational challenges and general field operations.
  • Assume the role of team lead to assist the quality control officer and health and safety officer in maintaining compliance with project work plans, standard operating procedures, and sound field practices while achieving project objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven ability to implement programs to address complex needs and problems.
  • Ability to coordinate with staff on various task assignments and field activities.
  • Knowledge of federal contracting regulations and requirements.
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience on environmental or construction projects.
  • Knowledge of scheduling and budgeting for large construction projects.
  • DoD POL Fuels construction superintendent experience.
  • Travel: Must be able to travel up to 90% of the time domestically and internationally.
  • Education: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Construction Management or related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.

  • More than two years experience with DoD POL Fuels construction projects.
