Overview
First Step House is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide a full spectrum of clinical services to clients seeking treatment, including mental health therapy and case management.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop initial treatment plans for clients.
- Use relevant clinical skills to assess clients, including administering assessment tools and performing diagnostic interviews.
- Recommend client service levels and formulate treatment plans using the American Society of Addiction Medicine's Patient Placement Criteria (ASAM PPC-2R).
- Enter clinical assessment, billing, and client information into the Utah Web Infrastructure for Treatment Services (UWITS) database.
- Complete admissions responsibilities in a timely manner, including administrative work to help clients enter treatment.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
- Licensure requirements: CSW, ACMHC, LMFT, CMHC, or LCSW.
