Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at CodeForce. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of radiation therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, act, and organize activities to provide safe, efficient, and cost-effective services.
  • Deliver radiation therapy as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, ensuring accurate and responsible treatment.
  • Act as a resource to others, assisting in understanding the use of therapeutic radiation and its effects.
  • Follow direction and conform to the philosophy of the hospital and department.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of a Certified Radiologic Technology School or Radiation Therapy program.
  • Current applicable state license in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology required.
  • Registered Radiological Technologist A.R.R.T. (R) required.
Skills and Knowledge
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and direction to patients of all ages.
  • Working knowledge of all areas within Radiation Oncology, including Linear Accelerators, External Beam Therapy, Treatment Simulation, and more.
  • Understanding of clinical and emergency drugs used in the Radiation Therapy department.
Personal and Patient Care and Safety

Provide for personal and patient care and safety using professional judgment in accordance with written standards.

Protect patients and others in the area by using proper machine settings and radiation safety standards.

Communicate and use knowledge of related anatomy and physiology to ensure appropriate and effective care to patients of all ages.
